We like to make you feel at home

From our experience with our Bed and Breakfast Finca Gordo, we think we know what guests like. We have applied this experience in our Loft2stay and hope that you will feel at home there. As much as possible has been thought of, which ensures that you can fully relax and enjoy the fantastic city of Málaga. Our apartment has been ready since May 2023. It will then be completely stripped and rebuilt with a new kitchen, bathrooms and open living room. Unique to our apartment is that no cars are allowed to drive through the street and there is also no nightlife, so very quiet and a good night's sleep is guaranteed. After a good night's sleep, you can fully enjoy the beautiful city of Malaga and its surroundings. Of course, before you go into town, you can first have a nice breakfast on your own terrace. If you book 1 or 2 bedrooms, you are always the only guest in the apartment, let there be no misunderstanding about that. If you book 1 bedroom, the upper bedroom is closed.

What do you get?

Sunny private terrace
A lovely sunny terrace with a table and chairs so you can have breakfast in the early morning sun, or enjoy a refreshment or glass of wine in the evening. Special is that it is situated a bit higher and so you have no view and your view is on the new Urban sky of Málaga. The terrace can always be used even if you only rent 1 bedroom.

Two bedrooms
A bedroom on the living floor and a bedroom on the upper floor and the terrace. The upper bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200cm), the other bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200cm), which can be split if necessary. The beds have a pocket spring mattress, the guests of our B&B always give positive feedback about the beds. Both bedrooms have air conditioning and shutters so that you can make it nice and dark, we sleep with the windows open ourselves and have never had any problems with noise. By the way, you book the room on the living floor as standard and you have the option to book the second bedroom. You can always use the terrace!

Two bathrooms
Each room has its own fully equipped bathroom, with a spacious walk-in shower, washbasin and a toilet. Of course you don't have to bring your own hairdryer, and we provide bath towels. The bath towels are not for the beach, we have special beach towels for that.

Living room
A tastefully furnished living room with a comfortable leather couch, armchair and SmartTV . A round dining table with 4 dining chairs and trendy lamp. There are sufficient power outlets near the dining table, so it is also very suitable as a workplace with sufficient daylight. Everything completely new and very comfortable.

Fully equipped open kitchen
Near the dining area is the kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, extractor hood, combination oven/microwave, large refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, hand blender, citrus press, frying pan, pans, cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, glasses, cups and mugs, etc.

The laundry
Our apartment is equipped with a washing machine, so you can do your own laundry. Ironing board, iron and clothesline.

Wifi
There is fast wifi in the entire apartment, login code you will receive upon arrival. The apartment is excellent for working online, so the wifi is also included.

Building
Loft2Stay is located in a relatively new (2006) apartment complex with a total of 9 homes, your stay is on the 2nd floor and is accessible by elevator. Upon entering the loft you come into an open hall adjacent to the living room. You can also take the stairs up to the second bedroom and the terrace.

Transfer from the airport
It is easy to get from the airport to our apartment by train and there are also plenty of taxis. Do you want us to arrange something? Tell us.

Private parking
We have a private closed parking lot 1 minute walk from our apartment, suitable for a small car. This place can be rented for a small amount. We have a Mitshibutshi Outlander ourselves and this fits on the parking space but admit it is not spacious.

You can also park on public roads, after a while there is almost always a parking space available, there is almost always space and it is only a 3-minute walk .

But if you stay in Malaga alone, don't rent a car, everything is within walking distance or by bus. If you still want to explore the area, the apartment is only 7 minutes by car to the highway so you can explore the rest of Andalusia. But then also consider booking in our BB Finca Gordo

Beach
The beach of Málaga is a ten minute bike ride or a 20 minute walk away. Because we know that most guests come with a small suitcase, as a service from April to November, lovely large beach towels are ready for you in the apartment.

Misuse
Málaga is quite big and if you want to go to the suburbs like El Palo, rent a bike. They are available in all sizes and types in our area, very handy and if there is something, the rental company will provide a solution. www.Bajabikes.eu and www.Biketoursmalaga.com

Air conditioning
In the apartment there are 3 air conditioning units, the living/kitchen/dining room and both bedrooms. In the summer to cool, and in the winter to heat. If the windows are open the air conditioning switches off, so we think about the environment.

Smart TV
If you have a phone or other device that can stream, you can cast your favorite program and movie on the smart TV. Please note, our smart TV has a Spanish IP address, some Netflix movies are not available in Spain.

Further
Hotel safe for passports and other valuables, actually unnecessary but gives an even safer feeling. Want to do something different? Then play a game, there are a few of those too. There is a carbon monoxide detector.

Just this (rules)
Our neighbours are Spanish and do not speak any other language, we have a good relationship with our neighbours and would like to keep it that way, they are friendly people and have our telephone number if something unpleasant should happen. We kindly request you not to cause any nuisance by:

Do not make noise in the hallway or on the terrace between 10pm and 8am and of course no excessive noise in your own apartment.

Don't slam doors, but close them quietly.

Enjoy yourself but party outside. Parties are not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment, but it is allowed on the terrace and use an ashtray for your cigarette butts.

Pets are not allowed in the apartment.

Do you have a night flight?
For check-in after 22:30 there is a surcharge of 25 euros. This surcharge is payable in cash upon arrival.
