Join an inspiring photography walk with Peter Laarakker, a professional photographer since 1984 and an expert on Málaga and its surroundings. Peter has lived in the Málaga region for 8 years now and knows the city, its atmosphere, and its special places like no other.

On this personal phototour, you'll discover not only the well-known aspects of Málaga but also the atmospheric streets, local neighborhoods, and small moments that make the city unique.

The tour can start from Loft2stay.com, a great base in Málaga, or at another pre-agreed location in the city.

This phototour is not just about photography; it's mainly about learning to see. Recognizing the right moment, feeling the atmosphere, and capturing stories in a single image—and having fun. Whether you're shooting with a smartphone, compact camera, or professional setup, everyone is welcome.

We'll wander through the historic center of Málaga, searching together for beautiful images. Think characterful streets, colorful facades, local markets, hidden squares, street art, and the daily life of the residents. Peter will take you to places where tourists often walk past and share his knowledge along the way about the real life in Málaga.

With his years of experience as a photographer, Peter will help you look at your surroundings differently. Not just searching for a pretty spot but learning to recognize when light, moment, and atmosphere align.

The route is tailored to your interests. Do you want to focus on photographing people? Architecture? Light and shadow? Street scenes? Peter will help you further develop your own style and perspective.

During the tour, you'll receive practical tips on:

* using light and shadow
* composition and creating powerful images
* camera or smartphone settings (note: Peter is not technically up-to-date with smartphones)
* recognizing special moments
* telling a story with one photo

Street photography is about observing. A smile, a chance encounter, a street musician, or a resident on their balcony can suddenly yield a beautiful image.

Peter will teach you to be patient and capture the character of Málaga.

The phototour is small-scale and personal. There's plenty of room for questions, practice, and feedback on your photos. At the end, we can look back together at the images taken and discuss how you can continue to improve your photography.
